This week Laurie from Papertrey Ink has shared how to use score lines on a card to give it extra interest. I’ve never tried doing this before but I really like the subtleness that it can give a background and was eager to try it out.
I wanted to make a card that was bright and cheery as it has been so gloomy outside. I’ve used several dies from the Papertrey Ink Scene It collections including using the palm trees from the Scene it Bethlehem set plus Scene It Skyscapes and Celebration dies and stamps for the sentiment. I love the Scene It range as it is so fun to play around to make tiny little scenes! I’ve used Copic markers to colour in my bright little house and Distress Ink for my blue inked background.
Thanks for visiting my blog! Hope you like my take on this fun challenge. Em
