I’m back with a card I made for CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #206 which is a great combination of bright colours. I know a lot of you are experiencing cold weather so this colour combination should hopefully brighten up your day! Here in Australia we’ve had quite a few 40 degrees celcius (about 104 in fahrenheit) days and according to the weather forecast we are in for quite a few more.
It is still school summer holidays here so I am literally chasing my kids non-stop and we are going through another stage of we can’t stand to be near each other but we can’t leave each other alone! It was nice to leave my darling husband to look after the kids whilst I snuck downstairs all alone in the peace and quiet to create my card for this challenge.
For my card I used this stamp set from Altenew for the very first time. It is called Simple Flowers and has some lovely bold and modern looking floral images. My sentiment is from the same set and it was such a nice quick and easy card to whip up. I’m really loving the bright and bold colour combination.
I can’t wait to check out all the entries and hope you will join in with the challenge this week! Em
Totally fabulous Emily! Love the simplicity of the stamps, they allow the colours to shine out. Hoping you’ve got air con with those temperatures, perhaps you could send a few degrees over to the UK where it’s been close to freezing and bitterly cold!

Love the stamps you’ve used – reminds me of old fashioned lino printing. You need to sneak some more time in your craft space! X
