It’s time for a brand new sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.
It is has been a super stressful week in my household and the first card I made for this challenge I absolutely hated. I can’t put my finger on it but something was just wrong so I popped it aside in my pile of cards that I hope to come back to someday.
I quite often find when I am stressed I love to puddle with inks and different mediums and somehow it is enormously therapeutic. I decided to cut some butterflies out of acetate and use alcohol inks to colour them.
I’ve adhered just the centre of my butterfly for a 3d effect.
I hope you can join in this week at CAS Colours & Sketches. Em x
Gorgeous butterfly wings, Emily! I don’t know about this technique and it looks so interesting. Love your puddled inks.
