Something Fishy

I have been crazy busy this week with so many things and as luck would have it all my new stamps arrived at the same time that I was too busy to play with them! Included in those items was the new kit from My Monthly Hero. I absolutely love the ocean and anything to do with mermaids and fish so this kit was very “me”.

Given how much I love CAS cards I couldn’t wait to play along and have used one of the fish stamps from Hero Arts to create a little school of fish swimming along.

For my stitched rectangle I have used a die from Lawn Fawn and also the sentiment is from their Mermaid stamp set. For the background embossing I have used an embossing die which is so old I don’t even remember buying it. I kind of thought it reminded me of reeds in the water and also fits in with another challenge over at AAA Cards Game #90 where we need to use embossing on a CAS card.

I did add some shimmer to my little fish with a Wink of Stella pen but unfortunately it doesn’t show up in the picture!
