Happy Holidays!

It has been a while since I played along with one of the challenges over at Papertrey Ink. They have just had another stunning release of so many beautiful stamps and dies and as always the creative team have made some truly amazing inspiration pieces using all the new goodies. For Papertrey Ink Create Along With Us December 2016 I decided to base my card on this gorgeous creation from Kay Miller

Kay Miller’s Card

So for my card I used one of the heart shaped dies from the Papertrey Ink Shakers and Sprinkles kits and traced it with pencil on to my white cardstock. I then used some stamps from Papertrey Ink Tinsel & Tags Sprigs stamp set and stamped following the shape of the heart. I then simply erased my pencil line and used a die and stamp from Tinsel & Tags to create my happy holidays sentiment.

I’ve used some foam tape under my sentiment and also underneath my white base so that it sits off the red background and gives a bit of interest to an otherwise very simple card.

Teddy in a Pressie

I can’t believe Christmas is nearly here. My kids finish up school tomorrow and my little one is already on kindy holidays. I’ve nearly done all my Christmas cards but decided I should make a few just in case cards!

I created this card using the MFT Beary Special birthday stamps which I decided to turn in to a Christmas stamp using festive colours on the present.

I’ve used Copic Markers for my colouring and used a circle cutter and foam tape to give dimension to my centred circles. My sentiment is a Heidi Swapp tag that I used my Minc machine to add some green foil.

I am entering my card in to the following challenge:

Casology Week 228 Bow

AAA Cards CAS game #79

Seasons Tweetings…

I am so excited to share that I have been asked to join the design team at Cas Colors & Sketches and today is the day I get to join in with my first card for the team!

For the current challenge you can select any CC&S sketch from 2016 and create a Christmas themed card. After much umming and arhing I chose this sketch from Challenge #160.

I went with a Lawn Fawn mini stamp set and stamped my little birds directly on to my white background. I used my Misti to position all 3 stamps at the same time. This made it so quick and easy and really works well when you want to make multiples of the same card.

My birds are coloured with Copic Markers and then I’ve used some colourful enamel dots to match in with the sketch.

Thanks so much for coming to look at my blog! I hope it inspires you to come and join us at Cas Colours & Sketches this month and make a festive card. I can’t wait to see what everybody creates!

Congratulations!

At Addicted to CAS Challenge #102 they are celebrating their 4th birthday! To help them celebrate the theme for this challenge is “congratulations”!

I chose to use some cute Panda stamps from Clearly Besotted Cheering For You and came up with this…

I masked the stamps using my Misti so that my cheerleaders could be stacked on top of each other. The sentiments are also from the same stamp set. They are coloured with Copic markes and mounted on some hot pink glitter paper and a die-cut from Lawn Fawn.
